Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia and is currently serving as the Deputy Director (Innovation in Teaching and Learning) at the Centre for Academic Development (CADe) in UPM. She is also active in the Young Scientists Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia and a member of the National Council of e-Learning for Public Universities. Dr. Fadhlina’s main research interest is in data science and intelligent computing. She has also been active in e-Learning projects.

Her consultancy projects revolve around data science for public and private agencies. She is usually assigned to teach courses related to Artificial Intelligence. In her teaching, she usually emphasizes on experiential learning and believes blended learning is the best method to learn and teach.

She loves seeing seeds that she planted sprouts, grow into greens and colors and eventually harvestable so daydreaming and gardening are her favorite pastimes. Her other hobbies are cooking besides reading and watching movies.
