Shakeeta Torres
Mrs. Shakeeta Torres is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Counselor) from Dunn, North Carolina (NC), USA. She has been married since 2009 and has two daughters. In 2015, Mrs. Torres was ordained as a Prophetess of the Lord.
She is the owner of EmPowered2Shift Coaching and Counseling Services, a faith-based mental health organization located in Fayetteville, NC. She provides counseling services to Christians and helps them heal from childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.
Mrs. Torres is the co-owner of R&S Coaching & Consulting Services, LLC., where she serves as a Life Purpose Coach, and her program is Pain, Passion, & Purpose that focuses on healing from rejection and fear, and empowers Christian Leaders to Heal on Purpose so that they can continue to make impact and not lead others from a broken place. She is an inspirational speaker and licensed minister.
She is the creator of EmPowered Purpose Academy®, an online school that provides mental health education, spiritual development, and personal development for Christian believers and aspiring and existing Christian therapists. She has a free Facebook group for aspiring and existing Christian therapists.
Mrs. Torres is the founder and President of Doing It for The Kingdom Inc., a 501C3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Its primary focus is to provide education to her community and surrounding areas about human trafficking.
What drives Mrs. Torres and empowers her to continue to do what she is called to do is the fact that she is a survivor of physical and sexual childhood trauma who has transitioned from “Pain to Purpose.” Mrs. Torres has been serving others through the marketplace since 2007 in the areas of hospice, elderly care, child protective services, and mental health. Mrs. Torres is known for being transparent, being able to connect with others easily, having a joyful spirit, full of life, drive, passion, and compassion. These qualities, along with her education and continued growth, transcends and sparks a hunger within her clients to embrace the process of healing, become their authentic selves, and to live on “Purpose.”
