Meet Alan
From selling greeting cards door-to-door in second grade to running a small international import operation at 14, Alan went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from U of WI in Speech and Political Science. Master’s degree from U of MN in Communication and Sociology. Doctorate from U of MN in Interpersonal Communication and Psychology.
He has was a university professor for 15 years, and at the age of 36, became the founder of The Zimmerman Communi•Care Network, Inc., a speaking, training, and consulting company. Providing 90+ programs a year across the U.S. & worldwide, allowing him to deliver more than 3000 programs, to over 1 million people.
Alan was awarded the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional Designation of Achievement). Of the 4,000 members of the National Speakers Association. He was inducted into the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Ronald Reagan, Colin Powell, Ken Blanchard, and Zig Ziglar.
He is the publisher of the “Tuesday Tip,” a weekly internet newsletter, and is also the author of several audio and video programs, books, and training manuals, others develop skills for peak performance.
On the personal side, Alan is a husband, father active church participant, antique furniture refinisher, biker, hiker, and international adventurer.
