Meet Nebras
Acclaimed bodybuilder, lifelong fitness devotee and podcast host Nebras Hayek knows what it means to fight for her life. After escaping Iraq with no possessions during her childhood, Nebras’s family built a new life in America. As an adult, Nebras survived an abusive relationship and a brief stint of homelessness all while working three jobs and going through an accelerated bachelor’s program.
A former winner of the Miss Arab USA title, Nebras joined the Army National Guard in 2019. Shortly after, she began prepping for her first bodybuilding competition, placing in the top 10 among 71 top-ranked women in her height class.
Today Nebras, whose name translates to, “Someone who will lead during the darkest moments,” hosts The Nebras Hayek Show where she shares the lessons and wisdom gained from her life’s experiences.
