Thankfully, I am home now. I can relax.Oh, wait, dinner needs to be made and the dishwasher needs unloaded, and I don’t even want to look at that mound of clothes in the laundry basket that still needs washed and folded. And, after all those not so great words were spoken, it hit me. I am blessed beyond measure.I am blessed to have a job I can get up and go to everyday. I am blessed to have a boss that understands my alarm didn’t go off, and is fine with allowing a little tardiness to slide. I am blessed to have a roof to go home to and collapse under. And, I am MORE than blessed to be married to my best friend (even if he doesn’t know how to cook, clean, or do laundry). Even on my worst days, my life is still better than many people could ever dream of. Life is good… chaotic, but good.
Always count your blessings, not your problems. It is not until you take the time to do that, that you can truly realize how blessed you are.
Don’t ever take life too seriously. None of us make it out alive anyway.
