What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger

There will always be trials and tribulations in this life. No matter what you read, or what anyone else says, this is a tough but real fact of life. There will always be stumbling blocks, obstacles, and challenges that you will face one way or the other. It’s rough but it’s real, and since there really is no going around this, it’s best that you simply accept this fact.

Simply, but sincerely, accepting this fact is one very difficult feat that many people can’t do. It’s just easier said than done. In many ways we often try to circumvent or avoid any kind of pain or challenge that comes our way. This is naturally human nature of course, but sometimes this view should be adjusted accordingly.Hardest

Some would go so far to say that any kind of suffering or hardship is unnatural or undesirable and therefore should be avoided. Most of the proponents of this view would even go further by saying that it is best and even possible to eliminate any and all suffering from someone’s life. These kinds of views are understandable and it is clear why anyone would not want to suffer. However, suffering and any kind of trial can teach us valuable lessons that can be applied in our daily lives.

No one likes hardship or trials of course, but these difficulties are actually learning experiences which are key to our future success. Read about any successful person and you will often see that he or she encountered many difficulties before thier goal and success was attained. Edison himself failed approximately 999,999 times before discovering the lightbulb. Colonel Sanders peddled his recipe for chicken to various restaurants and was rejected numerous times before he finally went into business himself. He eventually put up the KFC chain of restaurants and became a millionaire in his old age. These are only two examples, but their numerous failures and eventual successes are proof that life will throw you all sorts of challenges. Perseverance and learning as challenges come is the way to success in life.

The key is to not become masochistic and welcome difficulties in life but to see them as they are. They are not impossible odds that cannot be overcome. They are learning experiences that will pave the way for your future success. However, this can only happen if you learn from your failures.
